Ace Hotel & Swim Club is a 180 room hotel, spa & resort located at 701 East Palm Canyon Drive, in south Palm Springs on the grounds of a renovated mid-century modern motel, within walking distance of downtown.

Its foundation is a 1965 Howard Johnson hotel and much of the property is an outgrowth of the original five-building structure, from the old Denny’s restaurant — now King’s Highway and the Amigo Room — to the rare, deep pool. King’s Highway restaurant redefines roadside diner fare as part of an American peasant food tradition.

The design is organic and bohemian with earth friendly and sustainable elements like recycled materials and vintage furniture. Some rooms have garden patios or fireplaces, record players with old vinyl records to enjoy. Communal fireplaces are also located throughout the hotel.

ACE Hotel & Swim Club is one of Palm Springs’ many renovated retro retreats where you can enjoy an authentic Mid Century Modern experience.
